Regions visited and operated in include Europe (West, East, North, South, Central), Mediterranean, Scandinavia, Middle East, Asia, Australasia, Africa, America (extensive work in the USA), Caribbean and other ad-hoc markets.

Strong and established contact base and presence regarding the development of major infrastructure projects (airports, ports, highways, water). High volume sales developed and secured in these areas.

Extensive experience and knowledge regarding the culture, industry mechanics, working methods and practices relating to the construction sector in all regions.

Invitations from government and industry organisations (DTI, FCO, The Building Centre – Export Action Group for Building Materials) for participation in formal discussions regarding overseas market development (construction product sector).

Involvement in formulating strategies and organising events to encourage high-level construction-sector trade links between countries (eg UK-Turkey trade) and to assist with overseas market development of individual companies. Examples: Construction sector conference and inward/outward construction trade missions (involving Government Ministers and high-level industry officials).

Presentations in regional export seminars, briefings, workshops and UK group participation in overseas construction industry exhibitions (British Trade International; now UKTI).

Active work within the construction sector over thirty-five years generating a wealth of industry contacts: client organisations and authorities, specifiers (consultants, architects, landscape architects, quantity surveyors etc), contractors, trade partners, merchants, agents/ export buying houses, manufacturers, government bodies, chambers of commerce, Business Links, export clubs, trade associations, NGO’s, publishers, marketing and event companies and other organisations that all operate within the construction sector (product supply side) in many regions of the world.
